Reallt nice place to spend an evening. Actually it has good drink and food. It might seem a bit expensive, but it is. The quality of service is good. Staff is amazing. It is located In the heart of the city center. So, easy to see it since it is on the main road. Go there to enjoy quite atmosphere. After have a walk on the Rudaki avenue. It has outside places, but I am not sure because of new government roles.
I like this place. It has a reputation among expats as being expensive, but, really, the prices are generally not bad by European/ NA standards. Food is good. I recently had the grilled trout, the priciest item on the menu, which was delicious. It was more expensive than other places in town (there seems to be a common method for preparing trout in Dushanbe - a dish I always look forward to), but it was just as good as anywhere else in town. Lunch times can be hectic and waits for food can be long. The pressure for churning out the food during these peak periods is probably high, as evidenced by pieces of grilled chicken breast once served to me that were raw inside - but I like to think this was an exception. Otherwise, the place has a nice ambiance with a modern Western cafe-type look. A nice place to eat.
It was and still is one of the best locations to meet anyone in Dushanbe city centre. Great staff, most of them speaks English, nice food, salads, drinks and deserts. Not to forget the great coffee of course :) It keeps successfully it's reputation for many years now...
